Changing your password and securing your account

Your password is the central key to your NoraPix account, and with it to your website, your customer data, and potentially your shop. Using a strong password and reviewing it regularly is therefore one of the most important steps you can take to protect your account.

Changing your password

Under the Change Password menu item in your dashboard you can set a new password at any time. To confirm the change, you first need to enter your current password before setting a new one. This ensures that only you, and not someone who merely has brief access to an already logged in device, can change your password.

What makes a strong password

A good password should be at least twelve characters long and combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Avoid obvious choices such as your name, your date of birth or simple number sequences, since these can be guessed particularly easily by automated attacks. The more random and the longer your password, the better your account is protected.

Never reuse passwords

Use a password for your NoraPix account that you do not use anywhere else online. If any other service where you use the same password ever suffers a data breach, attackers could try using those same credentials to log into other services, including NoraPix. A dedicated password manager helps you create and store a unique, strong password for every service, without having to memorize them all yourself.

Stay alert against phishing

Never enter your password on a page you reached through a link from an unexpected email. Always log in directly through the official NoraPix address instead. If you suspect your account may have been compromised, change your password immediately and contact our support team.
